Let’s read on to what our communities have been up to all summer. ⬇️
Divi Chicago, Illinois, USA
From the Host, Joan Margau:

CSS Clamping is not so hard when it’s explained. Nancy Mikyska, CEO of Cymatics Web Development, showed us how CSS works.
CSS Clamping is a groundbreaking feature that transforms the way elements are sized on a webpage. It offers control over the minimum and maximum dimensions, creating a consistent and visually appealing layout across various devices and screen sizes. This technique brings flexibility and creativity to the world of web design, particularly when combined with the versatility of Divi modules.
Due to popular demand, Nancy will be giving us another presentation, so if you missed this one be sure to join the Divi-Chicago Meetup to be notified for the next presentation.
August 2024
Attendees: 9
Our recent meetup focused on the crucial topic of accessibility and how we can make our websites more inclusive for individuals with disabilities. We utilized the Divi Accessibility plugin, created by Divi Module, which guides users through the necessary steps to ensure the content on a webpage is accessible.
We also explored the Chrome Extension WAVE, another valuable tool that helps us understand the hierarchy of headings on a page.
The Divi Accessibility Sidebar is available in the Divi Marketplace. This plugin simplifies the process of making content accessible without relying on complex code. It was a great discussion, and we’re excited to continue exploring ways to create more accessible websites at our next meetup on September 9.
Joan is a beast! Divi Chicago, you’re in such great hands!
Divi Phoenix, Arizona, USA
From the Host, Dennis Dinsmore:
June 2024
Attendees: 7
The June edition of Divi Phoenix included Dennis giving us a refresher on Divi Conditional Options & Dynamic Content. We had some newbies show up and the pizza was en pointe!
August 2024
Attendees: 7
This month Dennis schooled us all in the ways of NitroPack and Divi (not sponsored). Minds were blown. Pizza was eaten.
Dennis is stepping down from leading Divi Phoenix. We’re looking for a new organizer (or a team of organizers). Reach out and let us know if you’re interested.
Divi Roma, Italia
From the new Host, Eleonora Anzini:
June 2024
Attendees: 6
In June, I took advantage of the WordCamp Europe event in Turin to organize an in-person meetup in nearby Milan, where several community members reside. The outcome was an informal meetup filled with conversations and the exchange of ideas and opinions!
We got to briefly meet Eleonora in Torino. What a great leader for Divi Italia!
Divi Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
From the Host, Dustin Olsen:
June 2024
Attendees: 5
In June we had a meetup talking about how to create a custom navigation bar using Theme Builder. We talked about the basics of getting started as well as showed some more advanced navigation designs for inspiration.
August 2024
Attendees: 4
In August, Divi SLC held a virtual meetup to discuss the basics behind website performance and optimization. Sometimes, we don’t realize how many different parts and pieces go into a webpage that loads in 2 seconds or faster.
Dustin is one of our longest running organizer and truly gives to Divi SLC!
